文法(ぶんぽう)（grammar)

q  Conjugations：Verb Neg.-form (nai-form, nakatta-form) & い・なAdj. and Noun plain-form

 

q  Ｎ&なAdj. + んです

Ｎ/なＡなんです(when the N or なadj. is non-past affirmative)

あしたひまですか。―いいえ、テストなんです。

 

q  Requesting someone not to do something

～ないでください：  nai-form  でください

ここでたばこをすわないでください。

 

q  How to do something

～の～かた：　Ｎoun　の　Pre-ますform　方(かた)

せんたくきを使(つか)います--> せんたくきの使(つか)い方(かた)

 

q  N that is not ideal, but acceptable

～でいい：　Ｎoun　で(も)いいです

サインでいいですよ。

            (Ｎounではいけません when N is not acceptable.)

 

q  Particles

<place>で：京都で電話をかけます。(You are in Kyoto, making a phone call.)

<place>に：京都に手紙を書きます。(You aren’t in Kyoto, writing a letter to Kyoto.)
